Mississippi River at Burlington affecting Hancock, Lee, Henderson and Des Moines Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Burlington. * WHEN...From Wednesday morning to late Friday night. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Water affects low lying buildings and homes in Montrose and Niota. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 12.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Wednesday morning to a crest of 15.8 feet Thursday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Friday morning. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
