Raccoon River at Van Meter Hwy R16 affecting Dallas and Polk Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...North Raccoon River near Perry, or from the Greene-Dallas County line to the South Raccoon River. * WHEN...Until late Saturday night. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Water affects the wastewater treatment facility as well as agricultural land in the Perry area. Near Adel...water affects the fairgrounds and golf course. Northwest of Adel...water affects Sportsman Club Rd and Midland Trl. At 16.5 feet, Water affects 125th Trl north of Dawson and west of Hwy P46. Water may also affect portions of US 169 north of Adel near the fairgrounds. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 13.4 feet, and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 16.5 feet early Saturday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday evening. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
