...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa... Raccoon River at Des Moines Fleur Dr affecting Polk County. Raccoon River at Van Meter Hwy R16 affecting Polk and Dallas Counties. North Raccoon River near Perry affecting Dallas County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...North Raccoon River near Perry, or from the Greene-Dallas County line to the South Raccoon River. * WHEN...From this evening to late Saturday night. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Water affects the wastewater treatment facility as well as agricultural land in the Perry area. Near Adel...water affects the fairgrounds and golf course. Northwest of Adel...water affects Sportsman Club Rd and Midland Trl. At 17.0 feet, Water approaches the bottom of the US 169 bridge on the north side of Adel and affects agricultural land northeast of Adel. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 12.9 feet, and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening to a crest of 16.8 feet early Saturday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Saturday evening. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
