Buffalo Creek near Jamestown affecting Cloud County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Buffalo Creek near Jamestown. * WHEN...From this afternoon to Friday morning. * IMPACTS...At 12.7 feet, Farm field just north of Buffalo Creek on the northwest side of north 40th Road floods. At 16.0 feet, Minor flooding begins along the creek as the south bank overflows. At 16.9 feet, Farm field along the north bank of the Buffalo Creek floods. At 18.0 feet, The north bank of the Buffalo Creek Floods. Lowland flooding continues from 763 Road to the Republican River. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:24 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 3.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 16.9 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
