Skunk River at Augusta affecting Des Moines, Lee and Henry IA Counties. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa... North Skunk River near Sigourney affecting Keokuk County. Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S affecting Scott and Clinton Counties. * WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 12.5 feet, Water affects old U.S. Highway 61 near the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 12.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.7 feet just after midnight tonight. It will fall to 11.8 feet on Monday, then rise again to 12.7 feet Thursday, October 08. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
