Republican River at Clay Center affecting Clay County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Republican River at Clay Center. * WHEN...From Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Lowland agricultural flooding occurs from U.S. Highway 24 to Milford Lake. At 17.0 feet, Flooding occurs between 16th, 17th, and 18th Roads and between Limestone and Osage Roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 9.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow evening to a crest of 15.4 feet Saturday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
