...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Florida... Withlacoochee At US 41 Dunnellon affecting Levy, Citrus and Marion Counties. .Elevated water levels continue on the Withlacoochee River at Dunnellon due to a combination of excessive hydrilla growth along a 4.5 mile stretch of river between U.S. 41 and Lake Rousseau, and recent heavy rainfall. Water levels are expected to hold steady for the next several days remaining above flood stage. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Withlacoochee at US 41 Dunnellon. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 28.2 feet, Docks and boat ramps flood along the river in Citrus and Marion counties. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 28.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 28.2 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:45 PM EDT Wednesday was 28.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 28.6 feet just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 28.2 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 28.7 feet on 08/09/2003. - https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
