...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Washington... Stehekin River at Stehekin affecting Chelan County. .Warm temperatures will melt snowpack and keep river levels near to slightly above minor flood levels. For the Stehekin River...including Stehekin...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Stehekin River at Stehekin. * WHEN...Until tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, Water inundates some properties and overtops the temporary corduroy bridge. Company Creek Road inundated at northern end. Battalion Creek culverts are beginning to be overtopped. Water begins damaging Wood Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM PDT Saturday the stage was 20.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 19.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 AM PDT Saturday was 20.6 feet. - Forecast...The river will remain near 20.5 feet through Sunday evening. The river is expected to begin to recede and fall below flood stage Sunday evening toward 20.3 feet early Monday morning. The river will remain near 20.3 feet through Monday afternoon. It will then recede further Monday night and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 20.5 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 22.5 feet on 05/12/2019. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
