Wapsipinicon River near Anamosa Shaw Rd affecting Linn, Jones and Cedar Counties. Cedar River near Conesville affecting Louisa and Muscatine Counties. Iowa River at Oakville affecting Louisa County. Iowa River at Wapello affecting Louisa County. North Skunk River near Sigourney affecting Keokuk County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wapsipinicon River near Anamosa Shaw Rd. * WHEN...Until Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 14.5 feet, Lead Mine Road is completely covered. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 14.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.5 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 14.5 feet.

What the agency told people to do

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. The next statement will be issued by late tonight.
