Missouri River At Miami affecting Chariton, Saline and Carroll Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Missouri River at Miami. * WHEN...Until Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Low-lying rural areas outside of levees begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 23.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.4 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
