Grand River near Brunswick affecting Carroll and Chariton Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Grand River near Brunswick. * WHEN...From this evening to late Tuesday night. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Flooding of low-lying areas occurs along the west bank of the Grand River near the U.S. Highway 24 bridge about 1 mile west of Brunswick. At 22.0 feet, Low-lying areas along the east bank of the Grand River near the U.S. Highway 24 bridge begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:59 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 10.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening to a crest of 24.7 feet Sunday evening.
