River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Missouri River near Chamois. * WHEN...Until Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Flood Stage: Lower lying bottom land begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 15.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.0 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
