Missouri River At Brownville affecting Atchison and Nemaha Counties. .This update reflects a two-foot decrease in the forecasted river crest. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Missouri River at Brownville. * WHEN...Until Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 35.0 feet, The parking lot and boat ramp south of Highway 136 on the Nebraska side are underwater. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 33.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 33.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 34.3 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late tonight. - Flood stage is 34.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 34.1 feet on 05/25/2004. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
