Platte River At Sharps Station affecting Platte County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...102 River at Rosendale. * WHEN...Until Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Lowland agricultural flooding begins. At 18.0 feet, State Route 48 on the east side of Rosendale is overtopped by flood waters. At 19.0 feet, State Route 48 on the east and west sides of Rosendale is under water. At 20.0 feet, State Route 48 is flooded on the east and west sides of town which prevents travel in or out of town. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 18.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is cresting and is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
