Central Otero County in south central New Mexico... * Until 1030 PM MDT. * At 432 PM MDT, Heavy rainfall continues to fall over the headwaters of the Sacramento River, and the area around the community of Bug Scuffle. Serious flash flooding is likely to develop in this area soon. The Sacramento River through Timberon is likely to be impacted. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Timberon and Bug Scuffle Ranch.
