West Central Mohave County in northwestern Arizona... * Until 545 PM MST. * At 250 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain entering the Kingman area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Kingman, New Kingman-Butler, Hualapai Mountain Park, Golden Valley, Dw Ranch Road, Wild Cow Campground, Blake Ranch Road, Chloride, Windy Point Campground, Packsaddle Campground and Hualapai Peak.

What the agency told people to do

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
