Northeastern Luna County in southwestern New Mexico... * Until 215 PM MDT. * At 1122 AM MDT, Over 1.5 inches of rain has fallen across the Uvas Valley region in the past hour. While the heaviest rainfall is moving east of the area, runoff will continue, resulting in considerable flash flooding. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar and gauge indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Uvas Valley. Portions of Highway 26 in the vicinity of Nutt and Macho Springs.
