Eastern Lampasas County in central Texas... * Until 900 AM CDT. * At 621 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain continuing along a line from Lampasas to west of Gatesville to Cranfills Gap. Radar estimates up to 3 inches of rain has fallen in the past couple of hours. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Gatesville, Lampasas, Arnett, Harbin, Hurst Springs, King, Pearl, Pidcoke, Izoro, Bee House, South Purmela, Topsey, Purmela, Levita, Adamsville, Rumley, Ireland, Jonesboro and Pancake.
