Northeastern Coleman County in west central Texas... * Until 615 AM CDT. * At 308 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area where up to 4 inches of rain have fallen in some locations. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Santa Anna, Grosvenor, Burkett, Cross Cut, Echo and Fisk. This includes the following Low Water Crossings... FM 1176 crossing Sweetie Creek, FM-RD 136 crossing Hords Creek, CR 270 crossing Home Creek, County Road 172 crossing Little Pecan Bayou and County Road 300 crossing Home Creek.
