FFWFWD The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has extended the * Flash Flood Warning for... Central Bosque County in central Texas... Northwestern Hill County in central Texas... * Until 1100 AM CDT. * At 854 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Clifton, Meridian, Blum, Cranfills Gap, Covington, Lake Whitney, Lake Whitney State Park, Meridian State Park, Morgan, Retreat, Cedar Shores, Lakewood Harbor, Norse, Lakeside Village, Kopperl, Womack and Osceola.
