The alert covers the South Cornwall coast from Gribbin Head to Rame Head in Cornwall. Areas particularly at risk include low lying areas at Fowey (Fore Street, Town Quay, Albert Quay and Caffa Mill Car park), Lostwithiel (Quay Street and Recreation ground), Polperro Harbour, Looe (Quay Road and The Quay) and the B3247 at Seaton.

Expected Conditions
High tides today may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible 2 hours either side of high tide on Saturday 29th August evening and Sunday 30th August evening. The high tide at Plymouth is at 19:36 on Saturday and 20:09 on Sunday. Forecast total high tide level is 2.6mAOD, with tide levels along the coast expected to be between 0.2 and 0.3 metres above tide table level. Force 6 Westerly winds and offshore wave heights of over 2.9m are forecast over the high tide.
