Affected Areas
County of Cornwall. Areas particularly at risk include low lying areas in Falmouth, Penryn, Flushing, Mylor Bridge, the A39 at Perranarworthal, Devoran, Calenick, Truro and the A390 at Tresillian.

Expected Conditions
High tides and forecast weather conditions may lead to flooding. Strong force 5 SE and F6 SW winds with offshore wave heights of over 2-3m are forecast over the high tides. Forecast total high tide level is 2.68mAOD on Tuesday and 2.51mAOD on Wednesday. Expect tide levels along the coast to be between 0.42 and 0.47 metres above tide table level.
Timeline
Flooding is possible 2 hours either side of high tide on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning. The high tide at Falmouth on Tuesday is at 19:33 and Wednesday at 07:50. This message will be updated by 12:00PM on 30 September 2026 or as the situation changes. Further Flood Alerts may be required.
