The notice as issued
High tides tomorrow morning may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible from 05:15AM to 06:45AM on Saturday 18th July. Strong onshore winds combined with a spring tide may cause some wave overtopping in the Beadnell Road Harbour North area. Locations most affected will be coastal roads and footpaths. Similar conditions are currently expected on Sunday morning. We are closely monitoring the situation . Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded . This message will be updated by 12:00PM on 18 July 2026 or as the situation changes.
