The notice as issued

High tides today may lead to flooding.  Flooding is possible from 05:15hrs to 07:45hrs on 26/10/2026.  This is due to high tides, strong winds and large waves. Flooding at the coast and overtopping of waves is possible in the coming days due to strong winds and high astronomical tides Locations affected will be coastal roads, footpaths and foreshore areas. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers or on the coast.  We are closely monitoring the situation and may issue flood warnings if necessary.  Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded. Stay away from promenades where wave and spray overtopping is possible.  This message will be updated by 10:00PM on Sunday 25 October or as the situation changes.
