Issue: During its operation, the oven may exhibit delayed ignition, posing a burn hazard. As of March 13, 2026, the company has received 2 reports of delayed ignition and 1 report of burn injury in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 16 reports of delayed ignition and no reports of injury. What you should do What to do: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled oven until it has been inspected and serviced. Consumers may continue to use the stovetop. For more information, consumers can contact Fisher & Paykel by telephone at 1-866-936-7872, Option 2, during normal business hours Monday to Friday, 8 am to 8 pm EST, by email at rbservicecanada@fisherpaykel.com with the Title “Ignitor Inspection”, or visit the company website. Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Fisher & Paykel. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form. Additional information Background Affected products: This recall involves Fisher & Paykel branded 30”, 36” & 48” Freestanding Professional Gas Ranges with a gas oven. The model and serial numbers can be found under the kickstrip on the front of the product or on the rear panel of the product. The serial numbers start with three capital letters followed by six numeric digits.
