Severe Weather Warning (IDV21037) for damaging winds issued by the Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology (BOM). Issued at 11:05 pm Friday, 12 June 2026 (2026-06-12T13:05:23Z). Expires 2026-06-12T22:05:23Z. Warning group type: major. Phase: new.
Affected Areas
Parts of North East, West and South Gippsland, East Gippsland, South West and Wimmera Forecast Districts in Victoria (VIC). Locations which may be affected include Mount William, Falls Creek, Mt Hotham and Mt Buller.

Expected Conditions
Damaging wind gusts of around 100 km/h occurring about areas above 1400 metres in western parts of the state this evening and expected to extend over the eastern ranges on Saturday morning.
