Affected Areas
King Island, Furneaux Islands, Western, Upper Derwent Valley, South East, North East, Central Plateau and parts of East Coast, North West Coast, Central North and Midlands Forecast Districts in Tasmania. Locations which may be affected include St Helens, Strahan, New Norfolk, Currie, Scottsdale and Whitemark.

Expected Conditions
Damaging westerly winds of 55 to 65 km/h with peak gusts around 120 km/h on exposed coasts, King Island and elevated terrain. Damaging wind gusts around 100 km/h in the remainder of the western area and northeast/Furneaux Islands. Damaging gusts more likely with showers and thunderstorms.
