A Minor Flood Warning (IDD20545) has been issued by the Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology for the Daly River. This is the 17th flood warning issued for this event, effective as of 10:47 am ACST on Wednesday, 18 February 2026.

Expected Conditions
Minor flooding is currently occurring at the Daly River Police Station. As of 10:15 am Wednesday, the river level was recorded at 13.00 meters and falling. The river is expected to fall below the minor flood level of 12.60 meters during Thursday into Friday.
In the upper catchment, levels at the Douglas River and Dorisvale Crossing (10.15 m) are continuing to ease. However, the Bureau warns that further showers and storms forecast over the next few days may cause renewed river level rises and prolonged flooding.
