Expected Conditions
Moderate rainfall observed across the Upper Murray river catchment since late Monday. Minor flooding has eased at Bringenbrong. The Murray River at Bringenbrong peaked at 3.02 m around 12:00 am Wednesday 26 August and is currently at 2.70 m and steady, below the minor flood level (3.00 m). Minor flooding is possible at Jingellic, where the river is currently at 3.14 m and steady, below the minor flood level (4.00 m). The river at Jingellic may reach around 4.00 m overnight Wednesday into Thursday and may remain around that level during Thursday 27 August. Flooding is no longer expected at Biggara.
