Expected Conditions
For the first warning period, additional snow accumulations of 5 to 7 inches are expected. For the second warning period, heavy snow is anticipated with total accumulations ranging from 10 to 13 inches. Travel will be difficult due to the heavy snowfall. While snowfall rates are expected to drop off overnight Saturday into Sunday morning, another surge of moisture will bring heavier snowfall rates by Sunday afternoon and last into Monday morning.

The first Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 11:00 PM AKST Saturday evening. A second Winter Storm Warning will be in effect from 9:00 AM Sunday to 9:00 AM AKST Monday.
