The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a Tornado Warning for portions of southwestern Louisiana. The alert was issued at 8:52 PM CST and remains in effect until 9:30 PM CST.

The warning covers the following regions:

  • Southeastern Calcasieu Parish
  • Southwestern Jefferson Davis Parish

Specific locations in the path of the storm include Lake Charles, Iowa, Holmwood, Hayes, Lacassine, and Bell City. This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 36 and 54, and Interstate 210 between mile markers 4 and 12.
