For your protection, move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Residents should remain alert for a possible tornado, as tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado, go at once into a small central room in a sturdy structure.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 2:00 AM CST for central, southwestern, and west central Louisiana.

At 8:37 PM CST, radar indicated severe thunderstorms located along a line extending from Lena to 6 miles south of Hineston to near Mittie. The system is moving east at 35 mph.
