The National Weather Service in El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa NM has issued a High Wind Warning for the Sacramento Mountains region. The alert was issued on the evening of February 17 and remains in effect through late Wednesday night.

The warning specifically covers the following geographic areas in New Mexico:
- Sacramento Mountains Above 7500 Feet
- East Slopes Sacramento Mountains Below 7500 Feet
