The Environment Agency has issued a Flood Alert (Severity Level 3) for the Solent and South Downs area, specifically targeting Mansbridge and Riverside Park. The alert was raised on February 16, 2026, following high river levels on the River Itchen.

The primary areas affected include Mansbridge and Riverside Park within the county of Hampshire and the city of Southampton. Specific locations at risk include the access road and car parking areas near the White Swan Pub and the nearby car garage. Parts of Riverside Park are also expected to experience flooding.

While the high tide at 10:45 AM on February 17 is expected to be 10cm lower than previous peaks, further heavy rain forecast for Wednesday, February 18, is expected to increase the overall flood risk.
