Land Rover Recalls Range Rover and Range Rover Sport Models Over Sunroof Trim Detachment Risk
Jaguar Land Rover is recalling 1,424 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles from model years 2023-2026 because the panoramic sunroof side finisher trim may detach.
What Happened
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC has issued a recall for certain 2023-2026 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles. The panoramic sunroof side finisher trim on these vehicles may not be properly secured, which can cause the component to detach from the vehicle while in motion.
Which Products Are Affected
The recall impacts a total of 1,424 vehicles. The specific models and years affected include:
- 2023-2026 Land Rover Range Rover
- 2023-2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport
What You Should Do
Owners of the affected vehicles should contact an authorized Land Rover dealer to schedule a free inspection. Dealers will inspect the panoramic sunroof side finisher trim and secure it as necessary at no cost to the owner. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed by April 17, 2026. For further information, consumers may contact Land Rover customer service at 800-637-6837 and reference recall number D095.
Why This Matters
If the panoramic sunroof side trim detaches from the vehicle, it can become a significant road hazard for other motorists. This increases the potential for a crash or injury to others on the road.
