Surreal Brands Recalls Tubby Tots Fizzy Flask Bath Magic Sets Due to Impact Hazard

Product Recalls medium CPSC · · United States

Surreal Brands has recalled approximately 9,400 bath foam sets after reports of pressurized containers ejecting pieces forcefully, causing injuries including a chipped tooth.

What Happened

Surreal Brands has issued a recall for its Tubby Tots Fizzy Flask Bath Magic bath foam sets due to an impact hazard. Moisture trapped inside the plastic flask containers can cause pressure to build up, which may result in pieces being forcefully ejected when the container is opened. The firm has received three reports of pieces ejecting, including two reports of consumers suffering bruises and swelling to the arm and face, and one report of a chipped tooth.

Which Products Are Affected

This recall involves approximately 9,400 units sold in the United States and an additional 600 units sold in Canada. The affected products are the “Tubby Tots Fizzy Flask Bath Magic” bath foam sets.

What You Should Do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled plastic flask bath foam sets. To receive a full refund, consumers should register at www.wonderfunbrands.com/recall. Surreal Brands requires consumers to permanently mark the plastic flasks with the word “Recalled” and dispose of them in a sealed garbage bag for regular household waste collection. For further assistance, contact Surreal Brands via email at [email protected] or visit their website and click on “Recalls” at the bottom of the page.

Why This Matters

The build-up of internal pressure creates a risk of sudden physical impact, which has already resulted in facial injuries and dental damage to consumers.
