Meijer Recalls Lullaby Lane and MCS Children's Sleepwear Due to Burn Hazard
Meijer is recalling approximately 211,520 units of children's footed sleepwear that fail to meet federal flammability standards, posing a burn risk to children.
What Happened
Meijer has initiated a recall of approximately 211,520 units of MCS and Lullaby Lane branded children’s one-piece footed sleepwear. The products violate the mandatory federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, which poses a risk of burn injuries to children. While the hazard is present, no injuries have been reported to date.
Which Products Are Affected
The recall involves 10 different styles of one-piece footed sleepwear in sizes 12-, 18-, and 24-months. The garments were sold in various colors and patterns, including Heart, XOXO, Lucky Shamrock, Bunny, Airplane, Animal Print, Dinos, and various holiday themes.
The brand name, size, and “Made in Thailand” are printed on the neck of the garment. The following style numbers are located on a sewn-in, side-seam label:
- MCS: 7903815, 7903816, 7903824, 7903830, 7904907, 7905646
- Lullaby Lane: 7904011, 7904012, 7904013, 7905217, 7905218
These items were sold at Meijer stores in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Kentucky from December 2024 through October 2025 for between $5 and $12.
What You Should Do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled sleepwear and return the product to any Meijer store for a full refund. For additional information, consumers can contact Meijer toll-free at 800-927-8699 or visit the company’s recall page at meijer.com/recalls.
Why This Matters
Mandatory flammability standards are designed to protect children from fire-related injuries. Sleepwear that does not meet these requirements can ignite more easily, posing a significant safety risk.
