  • Snowfall Accumulation: Total snowfall is forecast between 25 to 50 cm. Locations inland and over higher terrain have the highest probability of seeing the upper end of this range, while lower elevations along the coast are likely to see the lower end.
  • Snowfall Rates: Snowfall rates of 2 to 5 cm per hour are possible at times.
  • Wind Speeds: Maximum northerly wind gusts are expected to reach 80 km/h.
  • Visibility: Strong winds accompanying the snow will reduce visibility significantly due to blowing snow, especially late overnight tonight and Wednesday morning.
  • Extended Outlook: While the heaviest snow is expected to taper off Wednesday night, periods of snow, freezing drizzle, or drizzle will continue into the weekend, resulting in additional accumulations.
