Environment Canada has issued a yellow blowing snow advisory for parts of Manitoba and Saskatchewan. The alert is currently in effect and is expected to remain active until early Wednesday morning.

The primary alert area includes the R.M. of Wallace-Woodworth, including the communities of Virden, Elkhorn, and Kenton. The weather system is expected to impact southern Saskatchewan before spreading eastward into southwestern Manitoba.
