This alert (IDQ20745) was issued at 1:25 pm AEST on Monday, March 9, 2026, following moderate to heavy rainfall over parts of the Belyando and Suttor catchments.

The warning impacts the following geographic regions in Queensland:
- Suttor River: Specifically at St Anns.
- Lower Burdekin River: Including Dalbeg, Clare, and Inkerman Bridge (Burdekin Bridge).
- General Catchments: Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam.

- Burdekin River at Dalbeg: Currently 7.28 meters and rising, but expected to remain below the minor flood level of 10.00 meters.
- Burdekin River at Clare: Currently 7.20 meters and falling, expected to remain below the minor flood level of 9.00 meters.
- Burdekin River at Inkerman Bridge: Currently 5.55 meters and steady, expected to remain below the minor flood level of 7.00 meters.

The alert is effective immediately. Minor flooding is possible at St Anns starting around Friday, March 13. A Flood Watch remains current for most of Queensland. The Bureau of Meteorology expects to issue the next update by 2:00 PM AEST on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
